This Alkaline Banana Bread Recipe is made fully of Dr. Sebi approved ingredients and was designed to be Plant Based and Gluten-Free. It therefore used no baking powders, and no eggs or gluten to help the ingredients bind together. This is resolved with Perrier carbonated water for the rising, and Organics Nature Sea Moss Gel for the binder. They worked quite well.

For sweetness it requires very ripe baby bananas which are sweeter than traditional ones, and date sugar to keep it refined sugar free. Currants could be added, but I wanted to see how the bread turned out with minimal additions, since vegan, gluten-free baking is inherently fussy.

The taste is delicious! Especially with some coconut whipped cream or vegan butter.
